I'm Jo, owner of The Polished Lounge Salon & Academy. I've been in the beauty industry for 18 years! During the recent periods of lockdown & isolation 2020 I realised that my passion for teaching & developing others could be an invaluable offering to the whole 'Polished' proposition. A lot of time was spent evolving the idea and obtaining the appropriate teaching qualifications & certifications. Subsequently I held online masterclasses, spent time mentoring others, assisting in support groups, preforming live demos & conducting q&a sessions. This together with my own professional experience has brought me where I am today. I want to educate others to love their profession as much as I do, to help maintain high standards within the beauty industry & to see people develop personally & professionally.
I offer ABT accredited beauty courses with a difference. My courses are jam packed with all the nitty gritty and full of tips, tricks & Polished secrets!! They are fun & informative & focused around you as an individual, you’ll have me on tap during your learning journey. My courses are full of positivity as I'm a big believer in positive thinking via your thoughts, actions, beliefs & emotions. If you evolve with a positive mindset you can achieve whatever you desire. I have created The Polished Bible to help you achieve all the success you covet. There are different editions depending on what you want to learn and where you are in your beauty career.
